This is where it all begins.I have been encouraged to create my own website and blog. So here I am, making some kind of dent in the world. I'm not sure where this is going but it's going to be good. It's all about the journey, right?
I live in the San Diego area. I really enjoy the weather here. I am a housewife and a homeschooling mom. I love to read my Bible and My Utmost for His Highest by Oswald Chambers.
I love hearing God's voice speak to me. It really touches my heart. I enjoy knowing that I'm the "apple of His eye" and that He enjoys being in my presence more than I enjoy being in His (and I enjoy being in His!) He is a good Daddy. He's able to fill places in my heart that are lacking and bless the places where He's already blessed me. Doing so allows it to flow to others and it's great to watch them bloom under that LOVE.
I am learning how to let my inner artist explore. I have been given permission to find myself, whoever I am. It has been a glorious thing. It allows hurt parts of me to heal. That's why when you see the words of the art, it comes from within.
I love to be organized. It clears my head so I can work on other tasks. Even when I'm making stuff, it's still organized! I gravitate to "clean" looking art. It's calming to me.
My favorite color is blue. I don't have a favorite food, unless chocolate counts. Chocolate covered strawberries?
I have a wonderful husband. He's the fulfillment of me. He's patient, o so patient. And calm. He's very level-headed and can think of a thousand ways to create something and make it work. He's also VERY handsome. (But don't tell him I said that.) He loves working in the yard, which is good because I don't. I'm trying to change that. Spring and summer make it much more pleasant to be outside. Being in San Diego, that's not saying much. I know.
I'm going to add more to this page but I'm not sure what to add right now. We'll see as things progress.
